About

A new hatch of quail chicks in the brooder.

My name is Neil and I'm a poultry keeper. I've been raising quail for the past 5 years and I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with others.

I started raising quail because I was looking for a low-maintenance, backyard poultry option. Quail are relatively easy to care for and they don't require a lot of space. They're also very productive, so I can get a lot of eggs from a small flock.

Below: I do a lot of testing and like to apply science in my work. I rear my own birds and read the research.

Over the years, I've learned a lot about quail husbandry. I've experimented with different breeds, feeding regimens, and housing setups. I've also learned a lot about quail health and care.

I'm excited to share what I've learned with other poultry keepers. I hope that my website will help you get started with quail raising or improve your existing flock.

Below: I like to bring accuracy into quail keeping.

I'm also a member of the poultry club and I'm active in the online quail community. I'm always happy to answer questions and help out other poultry keepers.

If you're interested in learning more about quail raising, please visit my website. I've written a number of articles on quail husbandry, as well as a quail breed guide. I also have a forum where you can ask questions and get advice from other poultry keepers.
